PS5 faults we repair
- No picture: HDMI port or HDMI chip (see the dedicated page).
- Won't turn on, blinks then switches off: power supply, or logic board.
- Switches off mid-game, loud fan: overheating. We clean, replace the thermal pads on the memory and renew the liquid metal on the processor.
- Drive that won't take or spits out the disc: mechanism, laser unit or complete drive.
- Torn USB port, controller that no longer charges from it.
- Corrupted system, update loop: reinstall, keeping your games when possible.
Liquid metal: the quiet PS5 fault
Sony uses liquid metal between the processor and the heatsink. Over the years, or if the console has been stored upright and moved often, it migrates: the console gets hot, slows down, then cuts out. The repair means fully opening the PS5, cleaning, applying fresh liquid metal and remaking the seals. It is included in the “overheating” repair.
How it works
By appointment in Miélan, or by Colissimo from anywhere in France. Diagnosis 49 €, deducted from the repair; firm price before we start; if we can't repair it, you pay nothing. Every console is tested in-game, with the controller, before it goes back to you.
